Currently Prof. Schwartz serves as Fundacion Raffael del Pino Research Professor at CEU University San Pablo University in Madrid and directs the Center for Political Economy and Regulation. Prof. Schwartz also teaches at the University of Buckingham and serves as an Adjunct Scholar at the Cato Institute (Washington, DC). He is a member of the European Center of Austrian Economics Foundation, a leading European think tank in Liechtenstein, of the Liberales Institut in Zurich, the Institute for Economic Affairs in London and the Civismo Foundation in Madrid. H.M. Queen Elizabeth II made him an Honorary Officer of the British Empire in 1990 and in 2003 he was awarded the Rey Jaime I Prize for his contributions to economics in Spain. The Royal Academy of Moral and Political Science of Spain elected him to lifetime membership in 2005. From 2014-2016 Prof. Schwartz served as President of the Mont Pelerin Society.
